The UW-Whitewater Warhawk Quarterback Club can trace its roots back to 1957. From that original group of loyal Warhawk football fans, the club has grown, and continues to assist the football staff in continuing the successful program established over many years of championship football. This success creates a sense of pride for its faculty and staff, alumni, students, and friends. A successful football program strengthens our tradition, serving as a rallying point for the entire community, and enhances the awareness of the University, which can help to attract the "Leaders and Best" to our campus.

The purpose of the Whitewater Quarterback Club is to support Warhawk Football and to raise funds for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Football program. Any individual may become a member of the Quarterback Club by contributing money, material or services needed or requested by the football program. All contributions (cash or in kind) entitle the contributor to membership status for the year in which the contribution is made.

Weekly Meetings
During the football season, members meet once a week for either lunch or dinner. Speakers include Coach Leipold, his staff or other Athletic Department dignitaries.

Post-Game Socials and Bus Trips
The Quarterback Club will organize and sponsor post-game events at various local establishments during the course of the home season. In addition, bus trips are often offered to away game sites, where Quarterback Club members, families, and fans can socialize together.

Football Banquet
The Club assists with the football banquet each year for the purpose of honoring the team, especially the seniors. It is a popular, well-attended function, which includes video highlights of the football season, player recognition, and the announcement of special-award winners.

Raffle-Auction
The Quarterback Club, in conjunction with the University’s Men’s Basketball program, hold two major fund raising events every year. In the fall, “Wally & Rod’s Warhawk Raffle & Auction” is held to raise money for these two programs. The auction consists of numerous drawings and raffles along with the live auction. Fun, food, and beverages are provided for all that attend!

Golf Outing
Come! Golf with the Champions! Our summer golf outing is the second combined fund raiser. The outing is a great day for former players and teammates to reconnect for a day of golf and reunion. The event is highlighted by challenge holes, flag events and silent and live auctions. The golf outing is always a popular event with boosters and alumni, as well.
